This Bachelor of Science degree, Nursing major option is designed for adults who are seeking a change in career and have already earned a bachelor’s degree. This accelerated program allows students to focus on core nursing classes. Students who have completed the prerequisites should be prepared to finish the Nursing portion of the program in three consecutive semesters.
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing program, the graduate will be able to provide Culturally Competent Care with achievement of the following outcomes:

A transcript review will determine if the following prerequisites have been met. If the prerequisites are not met prior to admission, additional semester(s) may be required. Transfer credits for all science courses must carry a grade of C+ or higher and have been completed within the past 5 years. Transfer credits for non-science courses must carry a grade of C or higher, and be applicable to the degree program. Total required credits for a BS in Nursing is 121.
The passing grade for all Nursing courses is 77.5%.
