Sherman's Gallifreyan

Sherman's Gallifreyan was created in the summer of 2011 when creator Loren Sherman needed to write something in the language's predecessor (Bettenbender's Gallifreyan) but didn't have the alphabet on hand. Modifying it from memory, Sherman's Circular Gallifreyan was created. All forms of Gallifreyan (Bettenbender's, Circular/Sherman's. Doctor's Cot) are based off of Gallifreyan in the show Doctor Who. They're fan made however, because the Gallifreyan in the show cannot be decoded because there is simply nothing to decode.

Notable features

• Type of writing system: graphed alphabet
• Direction of writing: Counterclockwise from the bottom.
• Used to write: English
• Vowels are usually attached to letters but don't have to be, if no letter is there to possily attach to, they are attached to the word.
• Sentences link and should never be in the same circle as other sentences.
• Letters are stackable if they are the same or are in the same format but with the restriction of having lines or not, (no lines, no stack unless ONLY the first letter has dots. Also, if you stack H and D for HAD, it doesn't work. The vowel in the original word has to be like KLA.) and that the second letter has to be written thicker than the first.
• Lines can be shared between consonants and vowels, allowing for letters like S and F to have 3 lines connected to each other rather than lines everywhere. It's optional but it makes it easier to read and shows a sign that you know what your doing.
• The language can also be written differently, as it is very artistically based, meaning the same word doesn't have to look the same.

Sherman's Gallifreyan alphabet

The single dot and quadruple dot consonants are there for use but are frowned upon. Replace C with either S or K phonetically.

Words and sentences can have layers if they are rather long. As shown below. The word layer is treated as an extra word circle while a sentence circle would have the words put on it rather than put in it.
